rediscovering eden
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
whom shall i fear
whom shall i fear
i am yours

2 interesting events that happened to me:In my Biology class, there is a skeleton hanging from a frame, such as fantasised in American books. Anyway, we were debating about whether the skeleton was a male or a female or whether it was real or made out of plastic. The teacher assured us that it was made out of plastic but then he took out another box which contained a real skeleton. It was much more yellowed and cracked than the fake one. He carefully took out each part and allowed us to touch it and 'wow' in wonder. THe skull was divided into two pieces so that we could take the top part off and look at the cavity in which the brain should have been. I did precisely that, but when I wanted to put the top part back, I didn't put it on securely and it rolled off and onto the floor with a huge 'crack'! I was horrified! I mean, this was a REAL person's skull!!!!! Not wanting to cause too big a commotion, I surreptitiously picked up the top half, which thankfully had not shattered into a million pieces. It was really embarrassing, though.THe second event: A little review....what am I scared of? That's right - blood, vomit and drunk people. I made a promise to myself never to get drunk or even to drink wine if I didn't have to. Today, we visited this new church and the communion was exceptionally .....different. For one, instead of the thin papery wafers, they actually passed around real bread. I was pretty fascinated by that one. However, when they passed around the juice, I automatically assumed it was grape juice as it has always been. After gulping it down, I almost wanted to gag!! It was wine!! My first time ever drinking wine! It tasted really bitter and made my insides all warm. I don't think I ever want to drink wine again. toodles, viv
