rediscovering eden
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
whom shall i fear
whom shall i fear
i am yours

Well, it's currently 5:11 p.m. here in Waterloo, Ontario and I am leaving in about half-an-hour for my Chinese tuition class. Just came back from my youth orchestra rehearsal. THe standard is really high there and everyone practises really hard just to keep up with the standard (which is at least grade 8 and most are higher). I felt really guilty because I haven't been practising and I winced everyitme I played a note out-of-tune. Somehow, when everyone else is better than you and is playing totally in -sync, it makes your out-of-tune notes sound even worse :(THe weekend's almost over and boy did it pass fast. I walked 10 km yesterday as part of the walk-a-thon for the homeless. It really made me empathise with those who have to do that every single day and don't have a place to rest. It was pretty tiring and after the 5 km mark, my friend and I were really looking forward to the end. We made one stop for the toilet and it felt SO goodt o actually sit down. I guess we take those kind of things for granted. When we finally reached our destination, we sat down for a barbeque lunch. I have NEVER eaten such a good hamburger but it's probably psychological (in that I was so tired and hungry that anything would have tasted good..haha). AFter that, I had dance class....which was good except for the part where we were supposed to move across the dance floor and do this step-hop in arabesque then in first and I got my footing mixed up so in the end, I ended up doing something totally weird. Ok now I have 7 minutes to type before my dad comes to pick us up for chinese tuition. actually 7 minutes to get ready. you might be wondering what I did for 23 minutes and how I typed so little in such a long time. Actually, I was doing my chinese homework ( i had to write a gong han)....haha now you know when my homework gets done. No actually I'm usually pretty good about homework. Anyway, seeya later. viv
