rediscovering eden
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the bright and morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
A vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You've told me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours
Who Am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
and watch me rise again
Who Am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me
whom shall i fear
whom shall i fear
i am yours

Ok well I guess while I'm here, this would be a good time to post another blog.I have just returned from a great breakfast of...drumroll....rotiprata!! :D Haven't eaten it for SO long so it tasted really good. although extremely unhealthy but oh well :P Being in Singapore has been great...everything is so familiar to me and there are so many things I remember about it : the pastry shops like BreadTalk, the MRT, the curry puffs from Old Chang Kee, the tofu fa, the peanut pancakes, the rain trees covering the roads, the "uncles" and "aunties" who speak Chinese (my opportunity to converse in my limited mandarin! :P) and the feeling after it has just rained a WHOLE lot like a rain storm (we hardly have any thunderstorms in canada) like right now (it just poured!). I can't describe the feeling I had when our plane touched the ground. My sister and I were singing Singaporean songs like 'we are one Singapore' and 'where I belong' and it's so true: and as they become precious memories they'll be kept close to my heart and no matter where I am, I will always know where I belong. :)I really felt proud of singapore and felt like this is my homeland....the most patriotic I have felt in a while. I guess when you're living IN singapore you don't relaly notice it..it's only when you go away and come back that you come to appreciate all the little things about it. And come to love Singapore so much more. THe first dayw as pretty crazy...it technically was "night" for us back i nCanada so i stayed up the whole night without getting any sleep on the first " day" here in Singapore. Shopped at Mustafa and OG. Had chicken rice and tofu fa yu;m yum :) the second day, which was yesterday, we went downtoan and visited raffles city and walked down orchard road. but realluy i thi nk the shopping really isn't that great along orchard road..it's really upmarket and expensive. for e.g. i was walking thru takaashimaya and was looking at the prices. The dresses cost $837!! that's absolutley crazy in my opinion. I want cheap stuff! :P ended the day spending time with van <3>
